Siem Reap Holiday Weather & Climate
The climate in Siem Reap, though characterised by tropical hot and humid conditions, can be divided into four monsoon governed seasons across the year. The four seasons are:
June-August: Hot and wet with temperatures in the mid-upper 30s.
September-October: Cool and wet with temperatures in the low-mid 30s.
November-February: Cool and dry with temperatures in the mid 20s.
March-May: Hot and dry with temperatures in the mid-upper 30s.
Holidays in Siem Reap, with careful planning, need not be spoiled by the weather. The monsoon period covers two seasons and runs from June-October and though showers are often heavy, they can be predictable and usually only occur for 1-3 hours during the afternoons.
